Research and Development

As part of research and development, GFG is constantly engaged with partners from industry and various universities in the development of metallurgical processes, primarily focusing on the recycling of metallurgical plant residues based on the Zero Waste principle.

This is done in collaboration with various process developers, universities, and CD laboratories.

Involvement in the development of:

• RECODUST process:
  Pyrometallurgical processing of steel mill dusts (Zn recovery)
• INDUCARB:
  Inductive heating of coke for various metallurgical applications
• DGM (Steam Granulation Mill):
  Atomization of metals and slags
